My children are artists and they know it. I'm not saying that the "mature" art, or are much more talented than other children. What I am saying is that I fostered a belief and desire within them. What we have sown in my children is the belief that they are artists, and helped to find in him a desire to create. Also I'm saying that my children love to create and they love their creations. In my line of work that are considered "budding artists."
My "line work "is varied, but focuses on helping children to discover what makes them special and unique. In my line of work I have learned that what a child creates is an extension of them, so it must be affirmed and celebrated. I am a mother, artist and teacher who has learned the importance of allowing creative energies flowing. Me too understand how valuable it is to create an environment for discovery and creative exploration.
What do I do with children stems from what I've learned from my own creativity. I've learned that I became an artist, not just because I was a creative child, but also because it was influenced by people who took out my creativity. Today, all I do with children is an effort to give birth to their creativity. I want kids to know how special and unique they are. I want to know what I I learned to be true: inside everyone is a creative spirit that waits to be released.
My interest in the promotion, affirmation and celebration creativity of young people has a long history. This interest was kindled while studying to become an art educator in my adulthood. Then, I continued my studies of education in graduate school, where he continued learning about ways to bring the creative spirit of a child. My passion for the creative development of a child, but has its real roots in my own childhood. When I was a kid I made art that was encouraged, affirmed and celebrated. That's why I'm an artist today and that's why I want young people the joy of creating. Creation has been a lifelong blessing for me, so I'm looking forward to spending the torch creativity to new generations.
I've often been asked, "What can I do to make a child a budding artist?" The answer to this question is twofold. First, you must make an environment for creativity to be explored. Then say what is special and unique about what is created. The result is a child who knows what they do is of value. What we now have is a "budding artist."
If you decide you want to bring out the creativity of a child may begin by making an environment for creativity to be explored. How do you create this environment is quite simple. All you need do is provide a child with a lot of art materials and then give them a place to use those materials. A box of buttons, a needle and thread, some leftover fabric scraps, a pad good drawing paper and some markers to make a park of a true artist. Add a child's easel and a child art desk to the mix, and you just have the recipe About appropriate for the artist who does. All you need to add now is your encouragement and enthusiasm for what is brought forth!
I have learned that careful consideration should be given to the selection of a child's easel or art desk, for a child. My experience has shown that an easel, or art desk, that makes a child feel like an artist is a great investment. An attractive guy attractive, practical child easel, or child art desk, really creative juices an artist of "bloom" flowing. You may not need to tell a child that you are an artist if you provide the right environment. In fact, after seeing the last creation just tell someone that they are the next Picasso!
My last proposal to carry forward the "budding artist" is tolerance. This is especially important when it comes to tolerance of disorder. The creative process is complicated, especially when the creator is a child. That's why we want to be strategic, to give your child a space, and supplies, to create. Do not put your child's easel in the dining room, unless you can handle paint marks on the carpet! My children have an area of great works of art in our basement office. The floor is linoleum (good for spills and leaks), there are plenty of good lighting, spacious and the mess is gone from our main residence (so you do not have to constantly look at it!). I'm ready for a disaster that was done in the area of art and am willing to tolerate it. This leaves me free children to explore and exploit with creativity!
Bring out the creativity of a child. Let a child know how special and unique they are. You will discover that inside each and every child is a creative spirit that waits to be released!
