I had a small recording studio for the past 12 years, and have actively participated in it, for about one year.

I've been working on this free website, MusicPlaces.com, dedicated to helping to independent music artists
promotion of self, and sell their music online, with music
Performer and the listener of the Community.
The site offers free accounts to all music artists and listeners.

Now I would like to help artists get the most out of self-promotion of the Internet, giving a hint of sound
advice about how to begin.

First, There are many free music sites from the artist which is available free at the artist accounts.

Join many of these as you can, monkey is still capable of each of their accounts at least 2 times a month
maintenance of assets and put fresh content as much as possible.
I think 5 or 6 of them would be some work, it helps especially if you are giging and the work of a jab day also!

Trying to choose the sites that have been around for more than 2 or 3 years because they are probably more established
on the Internet and listeners have more traffic and giving exposure of freedom of the page.

Try keeping your usernames (the artist) in all these sites the same, as this will only help with search engine results
in search of their name or band name into a search engine.

Try to be as active in all sites you have time for, as this gets its name out there, and people on the internet soon
know who you are and your music!

Choose one of these sites to your home site, and link to it from all other sites.
Generally, when selecting a home site for your music, select the site with most of the features of the first free!
Make sure the site you choose is the fastest loading and works better.

Most of these music sites that are part of the forums are these days.
Be as active in as many of those who can, make a link to your page Start as your forum signature, if you leave.
Search forums spider engine spiders every day and publish more jobs, more links that will take Google.
The more links you have, kinking of its home page in Google, Google will be the highest ranking of his homepage.

Sites players portable that you can put on other sites that play their songs are a great resource for exposure
in places on the Internet than their usual host mp3 songs.

MusicPlaces.com has a great portable player that will play your songs on sites that allow you to code them past
like MySpace, TagWorld and other places that allow you to use HTML, such as forums, blogs, guestbooks …

If selling your music, most sites these days have a digital

Put your music on sale in many of these places you can.
