What material is used to make airbrush templates and pre-cut templates are available?

I'm in the research stage of my business airbrush future. I saw an airbrush artist paint 3 different designs using templates, but I wonder what the templates are made. I noticed you used spray mount adhesive to keep the template on the shirt while he painted and was impressed about the ease and speed with which produced some beautiful works of art.

I've seen the templates (stencils) made everything from copy paper, manila file folders, mylar (draftsmans materials), acetate (artists of the offer, for the variety thicker – bonus is easy to cut – just score and snap), frisket and tape. Automotive airbrushers even use the transfer belt (which vinyl sign industrial uses). T-shirt with art that is firing at a higher PSI (about 60) that will produce thinner materials to flit like a madman. To reduce your account, I went with acetate, only for the ease of cut.
